2010 Dates for ORCKA Instructor 2 Provincial Courses
Canadian Style Paddling (Lakewater) Instructor 2 Host: Camp Ponacka Director: Barry Irish irib@kingston.net	The short course dates (for those with LW II and teaching experience) will be on two weekends June 11(eve), 12, 13 and June 17(eve) 18, 19, and 20, inclusive. The long course will include, in addition to the above two weekends, 4 additional days June 14, 15, 16 and 17. Short Course Cost: $850.00 Long Course Cost: $1150.00

Canadian Style Paddling (Lakewater) Instructor 2 Host: Gould Lake Outdoor Centre Director: John Rudolph rudolphj@idirect.com	May 19-20 (evenings), May 21-24 Short Course Cost: $900.00
Canoe Tripping Instructor 2 Host: Girl Guides of Canada, Ontario Council Director: Rick Reid rick@discoverpaddling.ca	August 22 - 31 Cost: $800.00

PST and GST are not included in the above prices but will be charged. What is included in the price of each instructor course is not necessarily the same for all courses. Contact the Director to determine what is included and the final price of the course.
Contact the Course Director to determine if you are qualified and to get more information about the instructor courses. Participants for the Canoe Tripping courses must have their pre-requisites submitted to the ORCKA Chair of Instructor Courses, Marty Tannahill, mtannahill@orcka.ca or 705-533-3576. Deadline for Canoe Tripping prerequisite approval is two weeks prior to the course.
All instructor course participants must be current (2010) ORCKA members.

Apply early. The cut off date for cancelling courses due to insufficient number of candidates is 14 days before the course start date. You must have your approved application to the Host Organization, before this deadline.
Provincial Canadian Style Paddling Instructor 2 course dates: A 5-day course and a 10-day course are being offered during the same time period, June 11 to June 20. The 10-day course runs continuously. The 5-day course runs June 11(eve) 12–13 and June 17 (eve) 18-19-20. Check the qualifications required for each course very carefully with the Director, to ascertain which course you may take, and the details, dates, cost, etc. for each course.
